The Venue

The 26th ESEE conference will be organised in Toulouse, the 4th biggest city in France, located in the region Occiatnie (South-West of France).

The conference will take place at the historical building "Manufacture des Tabacs" of the Faculty of Economics of Toulouse

The building is located in the very center of Toulouse, closed to the river Garonne and the Canal of Brienne

How to reach Toulouse

Toulouse has an international airport an railway station.

From the  Airport to the venue

From the airport, we recommend that you use the public transport system (either Tram or Bus). You can also find taxis at the airport.

UPDATE: due to work done on the Traway line, it is not possible to take the Tram at the airport

 The easiest way is to take the airport shuttle bus to Compans Cafarelli stop.

• The journey takes 25 minutes, with shuttle buses running every 15 minutes.
• The cost of the bus ride is 9 euros. You can buy your ticket in the bus, provided you use your credit card or your smartphone, equipped with a contactless payment application.
• The stop Compans Cafarelli is a 15-minutes walk from the « Manufacture des tabacs ».

The most economical solution is to use the city bus and the T1 tramway (1,80 euros).

• From the airport, take bus 31 to the "Pasteur mairie de Blagnac" stop. The bus runs every 10 min.
• Then take tram T1, direction "Palais de Justice", and stop at "Arènes". You can connect in the station “Arène” to the Subway. Then take line A (direction "Balma-Gramont") and exit either at the station “Saint-Cyprien” or “Capitole”. Both stations are 15 minutes walking distance to the “Manufacture des Tabacs”. Both walks offer nice views, respectivelly through the river Garonne or through Toulouse’s main square “Capitole”.
• The journey takes around 50 minutes (not including walking time).

From the station to the venue

Toulouse's railway station is connected to Paris (4 hours), Bordeaux (2 hours), Marseille (4 hours) or Lyon (5 hours). You can take a subway to the station Capitole from the station.
